Type the number in yourself: which register, and what the answer means

Eight of the ten operators here have a number a public register answers for. Seven of those answers say Active and one says Revoked, and the difference between them is one word on a page anybody can open. This is where to type it and how to read what comes back.

Two registers cover almost everything on this page

Nine of the ten entries in the table above come from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and Curaçao runs a certificate portal that is searched by the operator's domain. Put in the web address of the casino and it returns a certificate page: the company that runs the domain, its Curaçao company number, the licence number and a status word. That is the check. It takes under a minute and needs nothing but the address bar.

The second register belongs to Anjouan, and it works the other way round: it is a list you search by licence number or by company name. Several brands here hold entries in both.

The tenth row is Betpanda.io, and there is nothing to search. A Costa Rican company registration is not a gambling licence — Costa Rica issues none — so no gambling register anywhere will answer for it. Mega Dice names Curaçao and publishes no number, which leaves the same result by a different route.

Section 8 of the Vave terms, the withdrawal policy, shown in full
Clause 8.7 allows an identity check before any payout, with 14 days to comply. Clause 8.8 allows a win of 50,000 USDT or more to be paid in instalments over 30 days. Clause 8.11 requires the deposit to be wagered three times before a withdrawal.

Search the domain, not the brand

This is the step that decides whether the check works, and it is the one most readers get wrong.

Vave is the worked example on this site. Searched under its brand name, the Curaçao portal returned nothing at all, and this table carried Curaçao with no number for a week on the strength of that. Searched on the domain instead, the same portal returned OGL/2024/1676/0905, held by Latcas B.V., status Active. Nothing changed at the operator. The search term changed. That is why the licence column for every crypto casino in Australia on this table records the number the register returns for the domain, not the one printed in a footer.

The reason is structural. A register is a list of permissions granted to companies for specific web addresses. A brand name is a marketing decision that may appear nowhere in the permission. Wild.io is the same shape from the other direction: the domain returns OGL/2024/210/0198, held by Nonce Gaming B.V., while the number the operator prints on its own pages is an Anjouan registration held by a company called Stack Gaming Ltd. Two registers, two entries, two company names, one site.

So: copy the domain out of the address bar, paste it into the portal, and read what comes back rather than what the footer says.

The four answers, and what each one is worth

Active. The permission exists and is in force on the day you look. Seven rows here return it: Jackbit, Cloudbet, TrustDice, BetFury, Shuffle.com, Wild.io and Vave. It is the strongest answer available and it is still narrow — it says a regulator granted something to a company, not that the company pays its players.

Revoked. The permission was granted and then withdrawn. BC.Game's entry, OGL/2023/118/0060 in the name of Small House B.V., comes back Revoked. This is worth more attention than a blank, because a revocation means an authority looked at the operator and reached a decision, whereas a blank means nobody looked.

Not valid. The portal has a third answer for a domain that has applied or been refused, and it says in as many words that the certificate of operation is not valid. No row here returns it, but you will meet it, and it is not the same as not found.

Not found. The register has no entry for that address. That is the answer for Mega Dice and Betpanda.io. It does not prove an operator is unlicensed somewhere else, and it does prove there is nothing for you to check.

The Mega Dice VIP or loyalty programme page showing its tiers and rewards
Loyalty tiers are a wagering ladder, not a discount. Read what has to be staked to reach a level before treating the rakeback at the top as money back.

Read the company name as well as the status

The status word is the headline of the entry; the company name is the part that tells you who you would be dealing with. Cloudbet's certificate names Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., Shuffle.com's names Natural Nine B.V., BetFury's names Universe B Games B.V., Jackbit's names Ryker B.V. and TrustDice's names Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. None of those names appears on the front of the site.

Two consequences follow. The first is that a permit is issued to a company, and one company can run several brands — Jackbit's number is not exclusive to Jackbit. The second is that the entity in the register is the one an authority can act against, and it is not always the entity your terms name as counterparty. Both are worth checking before you assume two accounts at two brands are two separate exposures.

When two registers disagree

They can, and BC.Game is the case on this table. The Curaçao portal returns its permission as revoked. The Anjouan register returns a different entry for the same brand — ALSI-202410011-FI1, held by Twocent Technology Limited — with a valid status. Both were read on the same day. Neither settles the other, and this site records both rather than choosing the flattering one.

TrustDice and Wild.io show the same double entry without the contradiction: each holds a live Curaçao certificate on the domain and a live Anjouan registration under a differently named company. Holding two permissions is ordinary. Holding one that has been withdrawn while advertising on another is the situation worth spotting, and it is only visible if you search both.

An older format is the other thing to watch for. TrustDice's cell on this site once carried 8048/JAZ, a reference in the master-licence style Curaçao replaced; the current portal does not return it for that domain. Any number in that older shape should be treated as a claim about the past.

What the check cannot tell you

A register entry says a permission exists, who holds it and what its status is on the day you look. It says nothing about how long a withdrawal takes, whether the payout ceiling is generous, or what the terms allow the operator to do to your balance. Those live in the documents, and the method page sets out which of them this site has read and which it has not.

It also says nothing about Australian law. None of these permissions is Australian, and no Australian regulator issues one — the boundaries are on the legal status page. The clause that decides whether an operator will accept an Australian account at all is separate again, and where it has been read it is set out on restricted countries. The identity rules that decide when documents are demanded are on the no-KYC page, and none of them appears in a register either.

Run the check anyway. It is the only claim on a casino homepage that a stranger can test in under a minute, and on this table it separates seven rows from three.
